This Hong Kong 10 Dollar banknote was issued in 1994 -1995 by the Standard Chartered Bank. Its obverse side features bank logo pattern in underprint and a mythological carp fish jumping out of the water. The reverse side features the new Standard Chartered Bank headquarters building in Central district, Hong Kong, and a Bauhinia blakeana flower also known as the Hong Kong Orchid Tree. The note measures 138 x 69 mm and contains a solid security thread and a watermark image of an Allegorical helmeted warrior head and SCB to enhance its security features.
