This Hong Kong 100 Dollar banknote from 1994 is part of the 1993 - 2002 series. Its obverse side features a lion's head statue on the left, a beautiful view of the Hong Kong Harbour skyline on the center, and flowers and leaves as a registration device on the right. The reverse side features two reclining lion statues flanking the 4th HSBC headquarters building in Central District and the Tiger Balm Garden pagoda in Wan Chai District, Hong Kong. The note has a dimension of 154 x 76 mm and is equipped with a solid security thread to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a lion's head watermark in profile. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
