This Hong Kong 100 Dollar banknote has a dimension of 154 x 77 mm. It was released in January 2014 by the Standard Chartered Bank with designs aiming to highlight the Chinese heritage and technology through inventions. The banknote's front design depicts a mythological horse with the bank logo pattern in underprint and numeric 100 in SPARK. The reverse side features a Sung script seal, an ancient style of writing Chinese characters, and a printed circuit. The security features of the note include a magenta-to-gold windowed security thread with demetalized HK100, a Bauhinia blakeana flower watermark, and electrotype 100 on a pixelated background. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
