This Hong Kong 20 Dollar banknote from 1988 measures 144 x 72 mm. Its obverse side features the crowned Coat of Arms depicting a lion and unicorn rampant, a sailing ship at sea, and Chinese junks. The reverse side features two reclining lion statues flanking the 4th HSBC headquarters building in Central District, Hong Kong and a scenic view of the Hong Kong Harbour skyline showing the Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower and a ferry with mountains in the background. The note is in size and is equipped with a solid security thread, and lion's head watermark in profile to enhance its security features.
