This Hong Kong 20 Dollar banknote was released in 1994-1997 by the Standard Chartered Bank. The obverse side of the note features a bank logo pattern in underprint and a mythological tortoise. The reverse side features the newly constructed Standard Chartered Bank headquarters building in the Central district of Hong Kong and Bauhinia blakeana flower. The note has a dimension of 144 x 72 mm and is equipped with a solid security thread to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of an Allegorical helmeted warrior head and SCB.
