This Hong Kong 20 Dollar banknote from the 2003 series is protected against forgery by fluorescent machine-readable bar codes and denominations printed in UV ink. It also contains a holographic windowed security thread with demetalized HK20, a solid security thread, a carp watermark, and electrotype 20. The banknote's obverse side depicts a mythological carp fish jumping out of the water and the bank logo pattern in underprint. The reverse side features ships in Victoria Harbour circa 1850. The note measures 144 x 72 mm.
