This 20 Hong Kong dollar note is dated 1 January 2012 and signed by Executive Director Peter T. S. Wong. It is a blue note that measures 143 mm x 71.5 mm. Its obverse side shows a lion statue, the HSBC headquarters building, and a SPARK lion head and 20. Its reverse side shows a goldfish and children celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival. Security features include a green-to-magenta windowed security thread with demetalized HK20, an HSBC logo registration device, and a Bauhinia watermark with an electrotype 20. It is also a superb gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced minor handling, and has above-average margins and registration. Thus, it is graded 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
