This uncirculated 1,000 Hong Kong dollar banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of China. It is an orange banknote that is dated 1 January 2018, bears the signature of Chief Executive Gao Yingxin, and measures 163 mm x 81.5 mm. Its obverse side shows the Bank of China building in Beijing, the BOC logo, a Bauhinia flower, and a green Bauhinia flower with 1000 in SPARK Orbital. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and depicts stylized human heads. Security features include a denomination registration device, a Galaxy windowed security thread with a Saturn effect and a demetalized 1000 and Bauhinia flower, and a watermark of a Bauhinia flower with an electrotype 1000.
