This 100 Hong Kong dollar banknote is dated 1 January 2000 and signed by Bank of China’s Hong Kong General Manager Liu Jinbau. It is a red note that measures 153 mm x 76.5 mm. Its obverse side features the Bank of China Tower, lotus flowers, and the Bank of China logo. Its reverse side features a view of the Star Ferry Piers in Southern Kowloon. Security features include a solid security thread and a lion statue watermark. It is also a gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced minor handling, and has above-average centering. Thus, it is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
