This uncirculated 100 Hong Kong dollar note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of China. It is a red note that is dated 1 January 2018, bears the signature of Gao Yingxin, and measures 153 mm x 76.5 mm. Its obverse side features the Bank of China building in Beijing, the BOC logo, a Bauhinia flower, and a stringed instrument (yue qin) with 100 in a green SPARK Orbital. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and shows a woman in a traditional opera costume with a paper fan. Security features include a denomination registration device, a Galaxy windowed security thread with the Saturn effect and a demetalized 100 and yue qin, and a watermark of a Bauhinia flower with an electrotype 100.
