This uncirculated 20 Hong Kong dollar banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of China. It is a blue banknote that is dated 1st January 2009, bears the signature of Chief Executive He Guangbei, and measures 143 mm x 71.5 mm. Its obverse side shows the Bank of China Tower, the bank logo, and Bauhinia flowers. Its reverse side depicts the skyline of Peak Tower and the tram building of Victoria Peak. Security features include a solid security thread, a 4-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetalized HK20 and Chinese characters, and a watermark of a Bauhinia flower with an electrotype 20.
