This Hong Kong 20 Dollar banknote from 2009 was issued under the name of the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited with the signatory title of Chief Executive. The front design of the note features Bank of China Tower and bauhinia flowers, in addition to the name of the bank and its logo with the Peak Tower as a registration device. The reverse side features an aerial view of the skyline with the Peak Tower and tram building at Victoria Peak on Hong Kong Island. The note is 143 x 71.5 mm and contains a solid security thread and a 4-mm wide windowed holographic security thread with demetalized HK20 and Chinese characters to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a Bauhinia flower watermark and electrotype 20.
