The Hong Kong - HSBC 100 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in 2012. The red banknote bears Chinese and English texts. Its obverse features the HSBC headquarters building, a lion statue, and a lion's head and 100 in SPARK. The reverse depicts a marching band passing soldiers and civilians with flags, celebrating the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day. It also features the Forever Blooming Bauhinia monument. The note contains a registration device in the form of the HSBC logo, a green-to-magenta windowed security thread with demetalized HK100 and a large HK made up of small letters. Its watermark reveals a bauhinia flower and an electrotype 100 on a pixelized design. It is 153 x 76.5 mm in size and signed by Peter Wong. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
