This uncirculated 20 Hong Kong dollar note is a standard circulation note that is issued by the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Corporation (HSBC). It is a black and multicolor note that measures 144 mm x 72 mm, is dated 1st January 1998, and bears the signature of Metha. Its obverse side shows the head of a lion statue and the Hong Kong Harbor with the skyline. Its reverse side depicts reclining lion statues flanking the 4th HSBC headquarters building in the Central District, and a ferry in the Hong Kong Harbor with the Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower in the background. Security features include a solid security thread, a flowers and leaves registration device, and a lion-head watermark.
