The Hong Kong - HSBC 20 Dollars banknote from 2005 is part of the 2003 - 2009 series. Its obverse side depicts a lion's head statue, a numeric 20 in gold-to-green OVI, and the HSBC logo. The reverse side features an aerial view of the Hong Kong Harbour along with the Peak Tram railway, and flowers. The note measures 144 x 72 mm and contains a 4-mm wide holographic windowed security thread with demetalized bauhinia flower and HK20 and a solid security thread. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of the HSBC headquarters building and electrotype 20.
