This uncirculated 50 Hong Kong dollar banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC). It is a green banknote that is dated 1 January 2008 and measures 148 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side shows a lion statue head. Its reverse side depicts an aerial view of the Po Lin Temple. Security features include a solid security thread, a 4-mm wide holographic windowed security thread with a demetalized bauhinia flower and HK50, and a watermark of the HSBC headquarters with an electrotype 50.
