This uncirculated 1,000 Hong Kong dollar note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Standard Chartered Bank. It is an orange note that is dated 1 January 2018, bear the signatures of Mann Hau Yee and Mary Huen Way-yi, and measures 163 mm x 81.5 mm. Its obverse side features the Standard Chartered Bank headquarters building, the SCB logo, and a Bauhinia flower and 1000 in a green SPARK Orbital. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and shows the Central Business District. Security features include a denomination registration device, a Galazy windowed security thread with a Saturn effect with a demetallized 1000 and Bauhinia flower, and a watermark of a Bauhinia flower with an electrotype 1000.
