Hong Kong - Standard Chartered Bank 10 Dollars Banknote, 1981, P-77b, UNC

This Hong Kong 10 Dollar banknote was issued in January 1981 by the Standard Chartered Bank of Hong Kong. Its obverse side depicts the bank logo pattern in underprint and a mythological carp fish jumping out of water. The reverse side features the Chartered Bank headquarters building in Central district, Hong Kong, and the crowned coat of arms depicting a lion and unicorn rampant. The note has a dimension of 151 x 83 mm and is equipped with a solid security thread printed CBHK to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a head pattern watermark of an Allegorical helmeted warrior.
