This Hong Kong 20 Dollar banknote was released in 1994-1997 by the Standard Chartered Bank. The obverse side of the note features a bank logo pattern in underprint and mythological tortoise. The reverse side features the newly constructed Standard Chartered Bank headquarters building in the Central district of Hong Kong and Bauhinia blakeana flower. The note has a dimension of 144 x 72 mm and is equipped with a solid security thread to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of an Allegorical helmeted warrior head and SCB.
