The Hong Kong - Standard Chartered Bank 50 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Standard Chartered Bank in 1993. It has a color combination of purple, light blue, and olive green. Its obverse side shows a mythological guardian lion. Its reverse side depicts the Standard Chartered Bank headquarters building and a Bauhinia blakeana flower. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of an allegorical helmeted warrior and SCB. It is 148 mm x 74 mm in size and is signed by Mark Waller and Anthony W. Nicolle. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
