This uncirculated 50 Hong Kong dollar banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Standard Chartered Bank in 1993. It is a purple, light blue, and olive green banknote that is dated 1st January 1993, bear the signatures of Chief Financial Officer Mark Waller and Area General Manager Anthony W. Nicolle, and measures 148 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side shows a mythological guardian lion. Its reverse side depicts the Standard Chartered Bank headquarters building and a Bauhinia blakeana flower. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of an allegorical helmeted warrior and SCB.
