This Hong Kong 50 Dollar banknote has a dimension of 148 x 74 mm. It was issued in 2002 by the Standard Chartered Bank of Hong Kong. The obverse side of the note features a mythological guardian lion and the bank logo pattern in underprint. On the reverse side is the newly constructed Standard Chartered Bank headquarters building in Central district of Hong Kong and a Bauhinia blakeana flower. The security features of the note include a solid security thread and a watermark image of an Allegorical helmeted warrior head and SCB. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
