The green 50 Hong Kong dollars was introduced by the Standard Chartered Bank in 2020. It is dated 1 January 2018 and signed by Chief Financial Officer Mann Hau Yee and Chief Executive Mary Huen Way-yi. Its obverse side contains a view of the Standard Chartered Bank headquarters building, the SBC logo, and a green 50 SPARK Orbital butterfly. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and shows a butterfly resting on a flower. Aside from the SPARK Orbital, other security features include a 50 registration device, a windowed security thread, and a watermark of a Bauhinia flower with an electrotype 50 on pixelated design. Its dimensions are 148 mm by 74 mm. This note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
