This used 10,000 Hungarian B.-pengo banknote is part of the b.-pengo series introduced by the Hungarian National Bank in 1946 to address post-war hyperinflation and reduce the number of zeroes. One b.-pengo is equivalent to 1 trillion pengo. This brown and violet note is dated 3 June 1946 and signed by SzekeFarkas Ferenc, Oltvanyi Imre, and Farago Lajos. Its obverse side shows the side profile of a woman with a tiara and oak, a diagonal red overprint, and olive branches flanking the crowned coat of arms. Its reverse side shows guilloches and the denomination. The note does not have a security thread or watermark. However, its dimensions are 170 mm x 83 mm. Because it is a used banknote, it may have minor tearing, folding, and/or ink stains.
