This used 10 Hungarian forint note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Hungarian National Bank. It is a green and orange note that is dated 23 May 1957, bear the signatures of Sandor Kovacs and Denes Szanto, and measures 159 mm x 73 mm. Its obverse side features the revolutionary poet Sandor Petofi and the new Soviet coat of arms. Its reverse side shows an excerpt from the painting “Birth of the Folk Song” by Janos Janko.
