This uncirculated 10 Hungarian forint note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Hungarian National Bank. It is a green and orange note that is dated 12 October 1962, bear the signatures of Kovacs Sandor, Laszlo Andor, and Jancsecz Antal, and measures 159 mm x 73 mm. Its obverse side has a stylized floral design and features the Soviet coat of arms and the poet and revolutionary Sandor Petofi. Its reverse side depicts an excerpt of Janos Janko’s “Birth of the Folk Song” that shows a group of people sitting under a tree near a riverbank.
