The Hungary 100,000 Adopengo Banknote was issued by the Ministry of Finance iin 1946 as initially a tax note, but later circulated as normal currency. Its obverse side shows an ornate border, the signature of Finance Minister Gordon Ferenc, and Hungarian text that translates to “Tax voucher for the 100,000 tax pengo. To be used until the 31st of July 1946 for payment of debts of communal taxes, utility fees, and other services.” Its reverse side shows the terms and conditions for using the note. It does not have a security thread or a watermark. It is 135 mm long and 61 mm wide. This particular note is in used condition and has been TAP authenticated.
