The Hungary 100 Pengo Banknote is part of the 1930 (1944-1945 ND) issues of the Hungarian National Bank. The banknote has a color combination of violet and purple and bears Hungarian text. The obverse depicts two angels flanking the crowned coat of arms of Hungary. It also portrays King Matthias Corvinus. The reverse of the note displays the Buda Castle on the Danube River in Budapest with an eagle spreading its wings. The banknote does not contain a security thread and watermark. It carries the signatures of Vegh, Sandor Popovics, and Bela Schober. The note is 180 x 92 mm in size and is in used condition.
