The Hungary 500 Pengo Banknote was issued by the Hungarian National Bank in 1945. The note is in dark blue and lilac combinations. Its obverse features oak and olive branches flanking the crowned coat of arms. It also depicts a portrait of a woman with a wreath in her hair. The reverse of the paper bill displays Hungarian and Russian text and guilloches. The note does not contain a security thread and watermark. It is 180 x 90 mm in size and is signed by Imre Oltvanyi, Lajos Farago, and Zsigmond Thaly. This particular paper bill is in used condition.
