The Iceland 10 Kronur Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Iceland between 1981 and 1986 under the 1961 law. The obverse of this blue banknote features scholar Arngrimur Jonsson in a ruffled collar and a cape, holding a book. The reverse features an old Icelandic family gathered around a fire, reading a book. It also shows household items. The banknote contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals Jon Sigurosson. It is 130 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Davio Olafsson and Johannes Nordal. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
