This Imperial Japan coin box contains one 50-sen coin struck from 1922 to 1938 under the reigns of Emperor Yoshihito and Emperor Hirohito and a Certificate of Authenticity. The 50-sen coin is made of silver, weighs 4.95 g, and has a diameter of 23.5 mm. Its obverse side features a sunburst between two cherry blossoms and the Emperor’s symbol. Its reverse side shows two phoenix birds, a chrysanthemum, and a Paulownia crest.
