India 1,000 Rupees Banknote, 2014, P-107i, Used

The India 1,000 Rupees Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of India in 2014. It has hints of red, pink, yellow, orange, black, green, and light blue. Its obverse shows the lion capital of Ashoka pillar, flowers, the Reserve Bank of India seal, and a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi. Its reverse features a language panel, a depiction of farmers on a combine tractor, an offshore oil drilling platform, a satellite, a young woman with a CRT computer, and a steel mill. Security features include a 3-mm wide green-to-blue windowed security thread with demetallized RBI in English and Hindi text and a watermark of Mahatma Gandhi with a vertical electrotype 1000. The note measures 176 mm x 73 mm and is signed by Raghuram G. Rajan. This particular banknote is in used condition.
