This uncirculated 1 Rupee India note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Government of India. It is a purple, blue, and orange note that is dated 1990, bear the signatures of Bimal Jalan and the plate letter B, and measures 96 x 64 mm. Its obverse side features the front side of the 1-rupee coin with a lion capital of Ashoka pillar. Its reverse side shows the back side of the 1-rupee coin, a language panel, and the Sagar Samrat oil exploration platform. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of an Ashoka pillar. The note has pinholes on the watermark area.
