This uncirculated 1 Indian rupee note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Government of India. It is a purple, blue, and orange note that is dated 1993, bears the signature of Montek Singh Ahluwalia and the plate letter B, and measures 96 mm x 64 mm. Its obverse side features the front side of the 1-rupee coin with a lion capital of Ashoka pillar. Its reverse side shows the back side of the 1-rupee coin, a language panel, and the Sagar Samrat oil exploration platform. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of an Ashoka pillar. Additionally, the note has pinholes on the watermark area.
