The India 10 Rupees Banknote is part of the Reserve Bank of India’s 2013 issues. It comes in a combination of orange, purple, and brown. The obverse of the note features the lion capital of Ashoka pillar and a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi. It also depicts the bank seal and a palm tree. The reverse displays a language panel, a rhinoceros, a Bengal tiger, and an elephant.The note contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized RBI and a watermark that reveals an electrotype vertical 10 and Mahatma Gandhi. It measures 138 x 63 mm and carries the signature of Subbarao. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
