This uncirculated 2 Indian rupee banknote is a standard circulation note that is issued by the Reserve Bank of India and signed by Indraprasad Gordhanbhai Patel. It is a violet, brown, green, and blue note that measures 107 mm x 63 mm. Its obverse side shows the lion capital of Ashoka pillar. Its reverse side depicts a Bengal tiger in a field and the RBI seal. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of the lion capital of Ashoka pillar and a plate letter A mark. The note was eventually withdrawn.
