This uncirculated 20 Indian rupee banknote is a standard circulation note that is part of the series issued by the Reserve Bank of India from 1970 to 2002. It is a red, orange, green, blue, yellow, and purple note that has the plate letter B, bears the signature of R. N. Malhotra, and measures 148 mm x 63 mm. Its obverse side shows the RBI seal, flowers, a language panel, and the lion capital of Ashoka pillar. Its reverse side shows elephants and a chariot wheel from the Konark Sun Temple. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of wheels, the lion capital of Ashoka pillar, and a vertical RBI 20. The note was withdrawn.
