The India 200 Rupees Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of India in 2022. The bright yellow banknote features Mahatma Gandhi on its obverse. It also shows the RBI seal with a tiger and a palm tree, and the capital of the Ashoka pillar. The reverse depicts the Swachh Bharat logo (Gandhi’s eyeglasses), the language panel, and Sanchi Stupa. The note contains a 3-mm wide green-to-blue windowed security thread with demetallized RBI and India. Its watermark reveals a horizontal 200, a vertical RBI, Mahatma Gandhi, and a vertical electrotype 200. The note is 146 x 66 mm in size and bears the plate letter F. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
