This uncirculated 5 Indian rupee banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of India. It is a green, blue, orange, and purple banknote that bears the signature of Yaga Venugopal Reddy and measures 118 mm x 63 mm. Its obverse side shows a lion capital of Ashoka pillar, a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi, and the RBI seal. Its reverse side depicts a farmer plowing a field with a modern tractor. Security features include a solid security thread with a demetalized RBI and Hindi text and a watermark of Mahatma Gandhi and a vertical RBI 5. The banknote was withdrawn in 2016.
