The 5 Rupees Indian Banknote was recovered in the SS Breda Shipwreck in 1940. The Dutch cargo-passenger ship carrying mixed general cargo including watermarked banknote papers sunk in Scotland during World War II. The uncut sheet banknote is printed with Reserve Bank of India, numerical 5 as the denomination, and a portrait of King George VI.
