This uncirculated 50 Indian rupee banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of India. It is a purple, blue, green, orange, yellow, and brown banknote that bears the signature of Bimal Jalan and the plate letter A, and measures 148 mm x 73 mm. Its obverse side features flowers, the RBI seal, a language panel, and a lion capital of the Ashoka pillar. Its reverse side shows the Parliament House in New Delhi. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of wheels, the lion capital of the Ashoka pillar, and a vertical RBI 50. The note was eventually withdrawn.
