Reviews:

The India 500 Rupees Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of India in 2014. It has a color combination of brown, yellow, green, and purple. Its obverse side shows a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi, the lion capital of the Ashoka pillar, and the RBI seal. Its reverse side depicts a statue of Gandhi leading the nation by Gyarah Murti and a language panel. Security features include a denomination registration device, a 3-mm wide green-to-blue windowed security thread with a demetalized RBI and India in Hindi text, and a watermark of a vertical electrotype 500 and Mahatma Gandhi. It is 168 mm x 73 mm in size and is signed by Bank Governor Raghuram G. Rajan. This particular paper bill does not have a plate letter and is in uncirculated condition.
