India 500 Rupees Banknote, 2018, P-114kz, UNC, Replacement, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The India 500 Rupees Banknote is part of the 2018 issues of the Reserve Bank of India as a replacement. The obverse of the stone gray banknote features Mahatma Gandhi, the lion capital of the Ashoka pillar, and the bank seal depicting a tiger and a palm tree. The reverse of the note displays a language panel, the Red Fort in Delhi, and the Swachh Bharat logo with Gandhi’s eyeglasses. The note carries a 3-mm wide green-to-blue windowed security thread with a demetallized RBI and India. It also bears a watermark that reveals a horizontal 500, a vertical RBI and 500, and Mahatma Gandhi. The replacement banknote is 150 x 63 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
