India 500 Rupees Banknote, 2018, P-114kz, UNC, Replacement

The India 500 Rupees banknote is part of the New Mahatma Gandhi series issued in 2018. This 150 x 63 mm replacement note is in uncirculated condition. The front of the note features philosopher Mahatma Gandhi, the lion capital of Ashoka pillar, and the Reserve Bank of India logo depicting a tiger and a palm tree. The notes denomination serves as its registration device. The reverse shows the Red Fort in Delhi and the Swachh Bharat logo which has Gandhis eyeglasses. A language panel is also visible. Moreover, the notes 3-mm green-to-blue windowed security thread has a demetallized RBI and its watermarks consist of Mahatma Gandhi and a vertical electrotype 500.
