The reverse side features a representation of a stone jumping manhood ritual on Nias Island. The note is 144 x 68 mm in size and contains a solid security thread printed with BANK INDONESIA to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of Indonesian heroine Tjut Meutia.
