The Indonesia 1,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by the Bank Indonesia in 1997. The banknote has a combination of blue, green, and orange. Its obverse features Lake Toba on Sumatra and the coat of arms of Indonesia. The reverse of the note illustrates the stone jumping manhood ritual on Nias Island. The banknote contains a solid security thread with printed BANK INDONESIA and a watermark that reveals Tjut Meutia. It is 144 x 68 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. This particular paper bill has been TAP authenticated.
