Indonesia 1,000 Rupiah Banknote, 2000-2016, P-141a, UNC

The 1,000 Indonesian Rupiah Banknote from the 2000-2016 series features a portrait of Kapitan Pattimura. Its obverse side features the coat of arms of Indonesia and Thomas Matulessy, also known as Kapitan Pattimura holding a machete. The reverse side features the beautiful Maitara and Tidore islands, a picturesque view of the lake with two men in a boat, mountains, and clouds. The note is 148 x 65 mm in size and is equipped with a Solid security thread printed with BANK INDONESIA to enhance its security features. A shadow image of Tjut Meutia is also made visible under a UV light.
