Indonesia 1,000 Rupiah Banknote, 2012, P-141l, UNC

The Indonesia 1,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by the Bank Indonesia in 2012. The banknote comes in a color combination of green, orange, and purple. Featured on its obverse is Kapitan Pattimura (Thomas Matulessy) holding a machete. The note’s obverse also depicts the coat of arms of Indonesia. On the reverse are the Pulau Maitara Dan Tidore (Maitara and Tidore islands), two men in a boat on a lake with mountains and clouds in the background. The paper bill contains a solid security thread with printed BANK INDONESIA and a watermark that reflects Tjut Meutia. It has dimensions of 141 x 65 mm and is signed by Budi Mulya and Darmin Nasution. This particular note is in uncirculated condition.
