The Indonesia 1,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by Bank Indonesia in 2013. Its obverse side features the Indonesian national hero Kapitan Pattimura and the coat of arms of Indonesia. Its reverse side depicts a scenic view of the Maitara and Tidore Islands with two fishermen on a raft in front. Security features include a Bank Indonesia logo as a registration device, a solid security thread printed with BANK INDONESIA, intaglio printing, flourescent UV serial numbers, and a watermark of Indonesian heroine Cut Nyak Tjut Meutia. It is 141 mm x 65 mm and is signed by Budi Mulya and Darmin Nasution. This particular banknote bears a radar serial number and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, the banknote has been TAP authenticated.
