The Indonesia 1,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by the Bank Indonesia in 2016. It has a color combination of green, orange, and purple. On the obverse are the coat of arms of Indonesia and a portrait of Kapitan Pattimura with a machete. The reverse of the note depicts the Maitara and Tidore islands, two men on a boat on a lake with mountains and clouds in the background. The banknote contains a solid security thread with printed BANK INDONESIA and a watermark that reveals Tjut Meutia. It is 141 x 65 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated.
